thanks for the "spirited" response, I do not know to what degree Joss whedon was involved in the Network on which the TV series was brodacast, but in the case of Hudlin, the moral questions stems from the article in the link posted above (if you have not read it). the two essential issues are: "...Hudlin has ignited ethical questions on whether his personal involvement in the TV series benefits him financially while also clashing with his responsibilities as a network chief..." and "...This deal (Hudlin (BET) with and marvel) doesn't seem to have the sense of impartiality it should have. It certainly raises the issue of whether the board of directors for the network is exercising sufficient oversight. The cost, network support, advertising and its placement in the program lineup are all things he controls."

Now naturally, I do not pay Hudlin and he doesn't give a flip about my opinion, it is not the fact that hw merely writes both, but the consequenses that could arise, in the sense of would BET keep BP animated serie if a new writer comes on the comic? would Hudlin agree to use new writer's material for the animated series if such happens? or will we have a cancellation, or different BP stories on the screen and in the comics? Hudlin wwould control both ends of the spectrum, and in terms of business practices, that could represent a conflict of interest.

It "MAY be" therefore not Unethical in terms of Morality (my apologies if you misunderstood me), but unethical in terms of Business practices.

Please read the article, it's clearer, if you still disagree, well your voice, but it still doesn't stop you from answering the question...:-)
