bunch of speculation on who would play cap in a cap movie over on his board. just wondering which actor would be a good T'challa in a BP film. im not too up on current hollywood guys. personally id like to see and african actor as opposed to african american, because an african one could have a more authentic accent (i always imagnined T challa with a north african accent with affected british pronunciaction, due to his international education).

maybe the actor from gladiator, dont remember his name?

anybody got ideas?

I think Hollywood should go with an unknown for the role of T'Challa, instead of relying on "big names." I know the movie industry wants big names to draw in crowds to the theaters, but as long as they produce a top-notch film, it shouldn't matter who is in the lead role (as long as they can act).

I agree, I think an African actor would make the production more "realistic" than if someone like, say Wesley Snipes, was playing the role.

If Hollywood chooses not to go with an unknown, then perhaps they COULD consider Djimon Hounsou (Juba in "Gladiator")(like you suggested) or Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (who played Mr. Eko on "Lost.")

Djimon Hounsou will be the voice of T'Challa/Black Panther in the upcoming Black Panther animated series on BET in February, so I wonder if that will be a springboard for him in a live-action Black Panther film.
