Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this the same set-up as when Priest was on board? T'Challa was replaced for issues by Casper, The New Black Panther, and T'Challa was more of an advisor. Then the book was cancelled. It was dumb then, and it's dumb now. I'm not waiting a year to see T'Challa as he should be: King and Black Panther. Maybe the next volume of Black Panther will learn from history and stop repeating it.

Much of Hudlin's subject matter has already been touched on or written about by Priest already.

- The Romance and marriage of T'Challa and Ororo (Priest said publicly he wanted to do it but never got the go ahead.)
- The Hudlin meetings with Namor and Doom (issues 19 - 21) were already written about before by Priest in his "Sturm and Drang" arc.
- Panther's current "Thrice Blessed Armor" (ughhh) was preceded by Priest's armor for Panther in the "Enemy of the State 2" arc.
- Hudlin rewrote the meeting between Cap and T'Chaka, T'Challa's father.
- Right before Hudlin's relaunch, a full scale war was waged on Wakandan soil, just like Priest did with his "THE DEATH OF THE BLACK PANTHER" arc right before his "relaunch" took place.
- And now, the actual "relaunch", where ?someone? new will be in the Panther garb....just like Priest did with Kasper Cole.
