This week's Q & A session with Tom Brevoort brings up the topic of future plans for the Panther as well as some preview art:

I'm thrilled with the current Black Panther story line, as I have always liked the Panther best as an urban vigilante. My perfect scenario would be T'Challa with his powers back, working days as a teacher in an inner city school, and out at night in his Panther togs. He can still be married to Storm - or not, I'm cool either way. I like Storm and I like them together but if they weren't married then T'Challa could fall in love with a non-super woman, maybe another teacher, and that would be fine too. A reporter, a cop, a nurse, any of these could make for compelling love interests conducive to good storytelling.

I can live with him non-powered, also, although if he stays this way, he should be put through a story line where he gets some intensive martial arts training beyond what he ever had before. There are some African martial arts that perhaps he could be trained more fully in, for example:

Dambe (boxing)
Laamb (wrestling with strikes)
Musangwe (boxing)
Donga (stick fighting)

Or Marvel could create something brand new and totally imaginative.
