Previous Post SPOILERS In this issue T'Challa describes himself as a peak human. Was he lying? If not, how could he be a peak human without the Panther Herb?

I don't think T'Challa was lying because he wouldn't need to. I think T'Challa WITHOUT the heart-shaped herb is peak human, just like Bruce Wayne/Batman is peak human.

I'm guessing that when T'Challa DOES use the heart-shaped herb, he is beyond peak-human.

Although I do think Marvel does make it difficult to sometimes differentiate between peak human and super-human...I'm not sure if Black Panther becomes super-human once he takes the herb.

But without the herb and the cat powers, I definitely think he is peak human, like Batman.
