This chapter seemed a little more straight forward where the storylines are headed. It probably does the title a service to have the big name guest stars because the this and the last Spidey one have been more enjoyable than any previous. Not great but not so bad (though the random coloring was hard to stomach). Lets see what do we have besides that... hmmm...
We see T'Challa mustve rigged that neat translation matrix since they dont sell that at Radio Shack - but unfortunately they dont note it.
We meet The Accountant. Not as interesting as The Broker was in Doomwar but at least he is a new character. Though not very formidable to somehow manages to cave in 90 seconds.
We have a welcome cast member appearance with Det. Kurtz. He has some entertaining banter and insult sharing with The Impaler.
We get Vlad's real last name and how really messed up his sons are.
We learn Brian hates rats
. Not really sure what his deal is or really care that much ATM.
We never see Batman come or go around his police contact because 'he is the night'. Guess T'Challa has been keeping up with his lessons here too.
We follow T'Challa take reasonable steps to bring the true killer into custody. However that is interrupted with the wonderful prerequisite cliche of heroes clashing upon meeting up. So T'Challa pawns(disses) Cage. If you want to try defending Cage, though, he didnt really have his guard up.
We watch the underwhelming villain of this opening arc go up against Pussy-cat Man (again). One son still set on killing one, the other on the other but both interruped by an explosive cliffhanger.
We can guess that our hero will survive if the bad guy must extend his shield in order to save his son, right?
