Hello, Folks!

It's been a LOOOOOONNNNNGGGGGG time since I've posted on these boards.

I just wanted to let folks know that I have written a chapter about T'Challa in the new book, "Ages of the Avengers: Essays on Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Changing Times"! You can find the book here:

http://www.amazon.com/Ages-Avengers-Essays-Mightiest-Changing/dp/0786474580/ref=sr_1_7_twi_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1418489342&sr=8-7&keywords=the+ages+of+the+avengers

The chapter is called "The Spy King:: How Christopher Priest’s Version of the Black Panther Shook Up Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!”

I talk about how Priest made the Avengers team, and Avengers title, and Marvel Comics portray the Black Panther as a strong, non-Western, complicated character--the same way he was created by Lee and Kirby and upgraded by McGregor. I discussed Priest's portrayal as the BC/AD mark for the character.

(Hudlin fans: I do mention about his contribution, too.)

THANKS for letting me share!

Thanks Taku!
