This was a very good conclusion. The writer had DP deliver A LOT of genuinely funny lines without making the story too silly. The comic book fantasy factor with the whole Vibranium Mound teleported to NJ was good enough. BP was handled spot on and he handled the insanity of Wade with some entertaining comabative sanity. And of course, both were key to saving Willie Lumpkin (with a welcome off-panel nod to Reed rightfully added). Touch on the whole debate over how regeneration may or may not regenerate a soul was thought provoking - an could easily be revisited and examined more closely with Deadpool in particular. It was inspired bringing in T'Challa's new position as King of the Dead into the debate - even though some of his reveals might be... curious and/or disagreeable, to some degree, how they were incorporated. Does it seem uneven how matter-of-plot-device easy it is for BP and Shuri have it to contact ancient Wakandan Ancestor spirits? And speaking of Shuri, she's having troubles with her powers and tech options in her book, so why not just give her this Pantherpool new suit?? And that final 'Avengerers decoration riddle' was a very good pun. This mini was much more enjoyable than the star trekwars thing the BP main book has got going on for too long now.
Did it make YOU smile at all?
I miss Dad & Dan.
