Agreed. There is a big disconnect and inconsistency between the title of the comic and the comic itself. I had some of the same questions myself while reading this. I only got it because Ka-zar was listed as one of the agents, and then he's barely in it.

Also agreed. Grey Gargoyle lists legit questions/concerns. That disconnect, you note, is accurate too and has been a problem with this 'working' organization since their intro in Avengers #12. Portraying the AoW as up and running from the get go has been peeving to process/accept at face value. This team needs proper origin exposition even if it's a dry/pendantic telling (in hindsight).

ScAvengers is a clever tag line wasted on a throwaway team. Granted, they could still be developed. And probably should be given they're the premiere's antogonists.

It should be WINSOME Wasp - not Wondrous. And her onoging membership/commuting comes across as very uneven with her supporting cast presence in Tony Stark Iron Man title. T'Challa should put her on 'his' Avengers team.

Ka-Zar is a great character that deserves MU facetime in his own book or a floating subplot in all the books that visit Savage Land. He should not have agreed to join T'Challa on a regular global policing gig.

AMERICAN Eagle is also a bad member choice. If the argument is that it's an international theme then uhh where are the other Earthborn country reps?

Okoye? Natch. Fat Cobra... fine. His power upgrade? Hmmph. Man-Wolf? ...fine. Broo? Okay. Ex-SHIELD Roz. Makes sense. Gorilla Man and his split team loyalties? Hmm... And Okoye failed to note the membership of Doc Nemesis and Ursa Major which was for weak plot device brevity.

There's generic monsters the narrator fails to identify to give readers a reason to care. Plus, some MCU movie synergy the Bullpen believes the fans loves. Was this the first time that KIMOYO BEADS were used in 616-MU?

Finally there's the SHOCK SURPRISE SENTRY appearance on the final page as future foe... or future member?! Or future Grecian Formula spokesman. This premiere could've been better.
