Am I reading THE OATH right that Steve knows his past was tampered with?
He talks about having all of "his" (pre-Hydra Cap's) memories.

No idea. That flabbergasting panel seemed to be dumped on us from out of the blue.

One of the images Steve reveals that he saw in Ulysses' vision is of white kids in Hydra t-shirts chasing a brown skinned kid. When did Hydra-Cap decide racism was part of his plan?

The exact context of that panel of foreshadowing was as unclear/uncertain as the rest of the future HYDRA agenda/imagery Steve interpreted/expanded on from the brief Ulysses vision (of Miles killing him) we saw him see on panel.

Help the Cancer Society and the Alzheimer Society.

To make it all the more confusing, after that panel there is a whole speech about how he loved and respected Tony, and all that crap.

It seemed to me like he knew, but it could just be bad writing... or a backdoor Marvel forced him to put in.

As for the kids...

I don't think t was showing Steve as racist, but rather chose three white kids as aggressors and the... not white kid... as the victim was more symbolic. The kids aren't racist, but their real world equivalents would be.

I swear, it is like a freakin' college sophomore is writing this.
