I'm counting Jason Aaron's Ultimate Captain America as being worth reading here, so there's that. But I'm thinking of some classic or really good moments or stories with him outside of his own solo book (Or books. How many does he have at this point anyway?). Off the top of my head:

Daredevil: Born Again. This story is an all-time classic, and it gave us the moment where Cap commands Thor. Frank Miller did a surprisingly great job with Cap in this story (I say surprising because of Miller's politics and his political stance.).

The Infinity Gauntlet storyline- Where Cap stands up to Thanos when Thanos has the Gauntlet and killed a bunch of the MU heroes. Of course Thanos kills Cap after that, but still.

The Kang Dynasty arc over in the Avengers during Kurt Busiek's run- This was his last storyline, and it was a loooooong storyarc that involved Kang basically taking over the MU. The conclusion had Kang and Captain America getting into a one-on-one solo fight, and I think that this was one of his best battles.

When Cap stands up to Michael Korvac during the Korvac Saga- Very similar to the Thanos incident from above.

Captain America's fight with Baron Zemo during the classic Avengers: Under Siege storyline.

That's all that I can think of right now, does anyone else have any others?

There's that Captain America Patriot 4 part mini series about Jeff Mace taking over Captain America from 1946 to 1951.

Best 1 issue, (That I can remember) was that Marvel special edition back in the early 90s. Frank Miller wrote it where Cap had to stop a group of Pyro-extortionists. That sequence where he ran into a burning building and ran out holding and saving the American flag, Wow, can't forget that.

A couple of guest appearances in the Amazing Spider man books, like that one where Parker bought some old Steve Rogers' artwork: A small community was evacuated and taken over Shield agents, Spidey sneaked in only to have Cap punching and threatening Spidey's life if he didn't leave.

Then there's that Iron Fist volume 1 run waaaay back in the 70s, when Iron was blackmailed into breaking into Avengers mansion and Cap just smacked Iron Fist around. Great Terminator-like moment for Cap. You might find that in a Iron Fist reprint book.
