Reply Subj: Shouldn't anytime Sups was in 'red sun' reset the clock?

Shouldn't anytime either of them lost their powers from exposure to a red sun reset the 'yellow sun' counter? Anyways, this explaination seems pretty silly to me. If superman has been constantly and continually absorbing more and more energy without hitting a 'high level mark' then shouldn't he be growing constantly more and more powerful by the minute?

What's with Sundipping? Can sups lower his 'sun ray count' by overextending himself?

It seems silly to me. I'd always assumed sups had a certain level of energy he could hold. More was bled off unless he did something like a sun dip. Seems to make sense.

How people who work out constantly stop for awhile but can get back into shape much faster than someone who never worked out because he/she's body is used to the excercise and has become more efficient at growing. Perhaps Supes body over time has become so efficient at absorbing solar rays(even more than Kara's)that exposeur to red sunlight effects him less and less and he can regain his powers very quickly. But he should have a peak or limit on how much he can absorb and convert (100% efficiency) baring a sundipp or some other plot device.
