Now I freely admit that Superman is not Asteroth . . . but Asteroth's eye beams clearly hurt stardust, Asteroths claws (although there did seem to be an energy effect there as well) clearly hurt stardust . . . Hell dust was clearly leaking energy when she got her arm bit off and it did take a few panels to reform. Personally I think she was bluffing when she said that BRB would never be able to destroy that body, I mean how many times has a villian made that claim. ". . . of a plot device" --- Heck that statement alone almost assures a superman victory

Well, I don't buy that he's invincible either but it would definitely take something that could disrupt his energy body to do it.

And keep in mind... Stardust did infact survive all of that including a trip through a black hole and still kept on truckin'! Being hurt by a "cosmic demon" who was casually blowing up planets left, right and center is, well... nothing to be ashamed of.

Heh. Remember though - he's Superman, not Batman. If Mr. Plot Device himself were there to help him... well, that's a different story.
