Lord Majestros:
In the time that it took him to think to himself, that he couldn't be trapped or he would lose th fight and THEN have to say the magic word, he could have already been free of the Ferris wheel. It's neither heavy enough nor durable enough to hold someone of CM's strength. Risking turning himself into a 16 year old kid with no powers when he could have just torn through the steel of the wheel as quickly (if not quicker) was stupid.
