> > Well, Mr. M. You said it in one word. Standard. Superman's Standard means of getting power is by absorbing sun radiation or light, but there has been nothing that has stated that he can not absorb or use other forms of energy in order to power himself. As i stated below, he did absorb Meggadon's "anti-sun" energy or whatever it was called, and used it as a means to power himself.

Thanks to RC on Superman Message Board for these examples of Supes absorbing energies..
Just might be the DC SS!(Doesn't Glads in Marvel absorb solar and other "ambbient" cosmic energies too?)

"Absorbed:
Anti-Sunlight: JLA World War Three
Chronal Energy: Time and Time Again
Solar and "Cosmic Energies": Vs. Rampage
Magnetism: Adventures in the DCU #6
Electricity: Superman Endgame (aka Y2K -- turned him into Energy Superman)
"Solar and other energies faster than ever before": Power Crisis

So he doesn't have to worry about ever powering down when out of sunlight anymore? Just find the nearest alternate energy source...

That is the implication is it not?
