> > I'm sure they had nothing to do with him getting her into the hold. They just starting stinging her once he did it (and she seems to barely feel that).
> Oh, you're sure of that? Because that happened ON PANEL, right? Conjecture, man.

No more conjecture than him "needing" or "wanting" help. All we get from the panel is him holding her in a full nelson and the other two taking advantage of her in that position.
> > As I recall, you never saw her break free and you eventually saw Hercules free from her hold. When I get home I will view the details.
> I have the issue here. In one scene she is in the hold in the next she is out...

Again, you don't see how she gets out so it is moot. Hercules ends up out of her hold in the first fight.
> > What's brilliant is your inability to acknowledge that, in response to her question, he began reminiscing over his exploits with Hypolyta when she punched him in mid-sentense. Am I right or wrong?
> No you aren't wrong but you are distorting facts. He asked for the fight -- she engaged him -- and punched him. That isn't a sucker punch. He was at the ready...

Nothing is distorted. Yes, a challenge was made, yet she interrupted the fight mode by questioning him. He went into an explaination and was hit mid-sentence. At that point, he was not "at the ready".

> > When says "pummel", one generally refers to being beaten repeatedly without being able to respond. Characters routinely fly through objects when punched in comics.
> And I'm sure the intent of Busiek and Perez (who both ADORE Wonder Woman) wasn't to show how powerful she is. *sigh*

Strawman. You said that she pummeled him. No, she hit him hard enough to make him fly back. They very well could have been showing how powerful she is, yet that doesn't equate to her pummeling him. She didn't pummel Superman, yet I'm sure that her victory over Superman was meant to show how tough/powerful she is. He flew into something when she kicked him.
