Atlas wasn't charged with holding UP the world -- the mythology doesn't have Atlas holding up the Universe but simply wedging himself between the Sky (Uranus) and Earth (Gaea).

Yes and atlas is also the most powerful of the titans the only one capable of doing so making it a strength feat. You can't use rediculas DC feats and throw away feats of marvel cause you don't like the fact that they maybe greater than what you DC favorite character has done. accept the feat or accept none of the feats. You cant accept one and not the other
