As you can see, team DC is left with Batman, Black Canary & Red Arrow being in battles that completely overwhelm them because the combattants on Team MU aren't street level. So it's created an imbalance. Most of the other battles are relatively even &/or close enough to present a challenge.

Guardians win due to an instant advantage gained once Mantis, Nova & Aleta summarily dismiss Batman, Black Canary & Red Arrow and effectively start turning the tide once Double Teams are achieved.
