I think Supes could do it. It seems that the secret to beating Rulk is to burn him out. Superman fought with Doomsday for quite some time. I think he could hang in there. Plus, he has great mobility that will keep from getting a pounding.

I'm wondering if heat alone could weaken Rulk? Superman's HV or something else. I guy like Thor could have led with some kind of thermal attack to soften him up.
