| > Okay, this is classic Battleboard.|
> The Hulk....the Incredible Hulk...Marvel's icon, the Hulk, was one punch away from being killed?
> I must have missed that text box.
It's easy to miss things that are not there. What you have are people making assumptions based on Rhulk's expressed plan to kill Hulk during the fight and him seeming to load up on that last punch.
Another text box that was missed is the one stating that Rhulk had used up his power punching Hulk. All we get from the dialogue is that Rhulk had gotten incredibly hot and the increased heat from his body prompts him to ask Hulk what he had done to him.
What to do get from the dialogue is that Hulk was growing stronger while taking those blows and that his ability to KO Rhulk is based on that increased strength. Of course Daveym will continue to argue that Hulk's ability to gain strength with anger is no different from any other character's.
| > And (in classic Battleboard fashion) when Hercules is beat to a bloody, bruised pulp, it's "He wasn't fighting back...it proves nothing! It only proves that the Hulk is too weak to K.O. a Herc that isn't fighting back!"|
> But when the Hulk isn't fighting back (as part of the strategy stated in the book), it's, "He was about to die if one more punch had landed!"
> But remember, kids, it's the Hulk Nuts from The Church of Hulk that twist everything and create their own version of truth.
> In a word, awesome.
> > And where do you get that? RHulk trashed GHulk in #4 and was doing it again in #6. He was one blow from killing Hulk till Thor stepped in. RHulk than admitted Thor was going to win till GHulk who had had a breather took over the fight again and even then he was still getting beat up till RHulk reached his limit. The only thing this proves if all is taken into account to the fullest extent is Thor was beating up RHulk which GHulk couldn't do. GHulk needed to wear RHulk out and assitance to win.
