> The Hulk always feels like he's "the strongest one there is!". So in his mind the Red Hulk was a cheap imitation and he didn't go all out in their initial fight. That's why he got beaten. But in their second fight, Hulk was going all out and was doing better than he did in the first fight.

This simply doesn't make sense, The Hulk knows what the Red Hulk is doing as he knows what Banner knows. So when they meet it's a fair fight tht he lose. In their 2nd fight he has absolutely no excuse yet still gets beaten in double quick time! To say he's not trying is absurd....

> Thor, has a looonnng history of underestimating "mortals". That's why he doesn't go all out in his first encounters. He underestimated Hyperion, he underestimated Nefaria, he underestimated Superman, he underestimated Beta Ray Bill, and he underestimated the Hulk in their first encounters too. In his mind, Rulk was just a Hulk knock-off, and he didn't take the fight to him hard enough in the first round, but took it to him in their second round.

Again, that simply does not jibe with what the art shows - I have never ever seen Thor lay into an opponent like that with Mjolnir, apart from Mangog and the like.
