Subj: I'll reserve judgement of the Red Hulk/Thor rematch until after I read #6, although...

Reply Subj: Ah, NO, Rulk was prepped for Thor, Thor was not prepped for Rulk. Thor....

...from what I'm hearing/reading on the boards is that Thor blind-sided Red Hulk while the latter was fighting the true Hulk. It's pretty easy to get the jump on someone when they are engaged in something else. As for their first encounter however, Thor was simply embarassed. I'm not buying the prep issue, simply because Thor is a warrior with millenia of combat experience and could easily adapt to an opponent of comparable stature. The Red Hulk was simply too overwhelming for Thor to contend with in their first encounter, there can be no other explaination. And you can't say he was holding back, because he stated from the onset of the fight that he intended to put the Red Hulk down for good, and he had to know that a creature able to rout the Green Hulk had to be a formidable opponent indeed. Summation... Thor got spanked. Thor is one of my faves... but it is what it is.

> > > If Hercules used some of his fighting skills the when writers remember he has them he could give Rhulk a run for his money if not beat him. Espically if Hercules brings his golden mace to the battle which allows him to hit as hard as Mjolnir. If Thor with Mjolnir was able to hurt RHulk then it makes sense Hercules would be able to do so as well.
