    darkseid as of the Great Darkness Legion Saga, Thor of the reigning...

    No prepping...

    Who wins?

OK I'll use logic similar to some of the responses although I might not necessarily buy into it

Classic Thor, in JLA Avengers unpublished was fighting Silver Age, aka Pre Crisis Supes to a draw --

Odin >>>> greater than Classic Thor; King Thor >>> greater than Classic Thor

so using the same logic King Thor >>> greater than PreCrisis Supes who is peer to PreC Darkseid

it follows King Thor >>> than PreCrisis Darkseid based upon the same logic

Thanos > Classic Thor; Odin > Thanos in power levels (but Thanos probably outsmart him eventually)

Thanos > than PreCrisis Supes because PC Supes = to Classic Thor; therefore Thanos > PreC Darkseid

here's another way

PreC Darkseid relatively equal to Highfather; PC Darkseid = PC Supes;

Highfather= PC Supes; Classic Thor= PC Supes; Odin >>>> Classic Thor;

therefore Odin >>>> Highfather, PC Darkseid, PC Supes; therefore King King Thor >>> Highfather, Pc Darkseid, PC Supes

and so we see the problem using that sort of logic....

PreC Darkseid vs King Thor very tough to call

Darkseid definitely better planner, strategist, more cunning and can make much more out of his very considerable powers

but Odin Force might just be an equalizer and even for the Omega , perhaps can be equated as an Alpha v Omega?

IMO PreC Darkseid eventually wins because he's much beeter at getting most of his powers, intellect and abilities, and has no hesitation to doing whatever it takes to win -- maybe this goes 60/40 or 55/45 ? -Probably makes for a really good Battle of the Week (if it hasn't already been done)

of course that outcome might kinda mess up the logic chains
