Quote: >>>>> I know you like to use the sandwiched between two planets example as highlighting Superman's toughness. But what condition was he in afterwards? Did he just shrug it off with a smile, or was he seriously hurting? My Computer farted and i lost the lengthy post i'd written, Just as well really as this thread has gotten silly. So I'll just answer this one and leave it at that - The Impact between New Genesis and Apokalips was in Death of the New Gods last year and while he comfortably survives it does Ko him. ![]() ![]() That was followed up a just four months later by Brainiacs detonating a star on him in Action Comics 867 which too Koed him. But Those two examples are just the latest in a long line of extreme invulnerability feats: Lex:2000 special - Either drives right thru or splits in two a small Moon of Saturns. Action Comics 762 (2000) - Etrigan punches him to the moon Superman #181(2002) - Punches Bizarro/Superman thru the planet. Adventures of superman #618(2003) - diving to the centre of the earth to restore gravity he caught at the centre of more than a planets worth of Gravity according to Ray Palmer. Adventures of Superman #623 - Investigating a crashed spaceship he is caught in a Gravity bubble that is the equivalent of being at the heart of a star. Action Comics 847(2007) - Versus a Sun-Eater. This has to be seen to be comprehended in scale.... JLA #30 (2009) - flies near lightspeed to shatter an exact duplicate of earths Moon, Koed but okay. Those are the highlights and what i can remember off the top of my head of course, when it comes to invulnerability he's near enough textbook. He's Well above Thor/Hulk level and in line with a Galactus Herald near enough... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | |||||||
