Nucleon. Page 12 of Adv. of Superman shows him struggling with a helicopter and just barely lifting it out of the path of a train (the train actually clipped the bottom of the chopper). Davyem is the one making things up.


Whilst we're on Superman's non-planet moving showings, here's my personal favourite - an all-out Supes not just struggling with but flat-out failing to lift and being pushed down by a 2-ton (!!!) pummel block.

I can guarantee you now that not anywhere in his entire continuity will you find the Hulk flat-out failing an attempted strength feat in this manner.

Don't ever let anyone convince you Superman isn't as inconsistent as everybody else. He has ridiculous low showings too and this is just one of many. Not to say he isn't as strong as strong comes... just that there is two sides to every story, no matter what some would have you believe....
