Whilst we're on Superman's non-planet moving showings, here's my personal favourite - an all-out Supes not just struggling with but flat-out failing to lift and being pushed down by a 2-ton (!!!) pummel block.
I can guarantee you now that not anywhere in his entire continuity will you find the Hulk flat-out failing an attempted strength feat in this manner.
Don't ever let anyone convince you Superman isn't as inconsistent as everybody else. He has ridiculous low showings too and this is just one of many. Not to say he isn't as strong as strong comes... just that there is two sides to every story, no matter what some would have you believe....
...the block was 2 tons but it wasn't a passive weight that he was resisting. There is a difference between lifting a weight in a gym and lifting the same weight while someone push it against you. It is still a low showing but not a 2 tons low. We can't know how much force was behind the 2 tons mass.
