Of course. I think this is fairly obvious. DC is pretty protective of Superman and how he's portrayed...and rightfully so--he's only the single most influential superhero of all time. Just as you'll never see Mickey Mouse as an alcoholic (like Iron Man), you'll never see Superman wearing gang clothes/colors (like Marvel did with the Hulk and other heroes on officially licensed T-shirts a few years ago).
