Quote:How does Sentry do against the following? (not a gauntlet)
Assuming Sentry is reasonably stable:
I think Sentry can beat Mongul assuming he's the ringless, in a real sense this opponent is right up Sentry's street as he's limited and not all that smart, he'll not be easy to take down as he's a good fighter and very powerful but with the array of abilities he has and a reasonable degree of ruthlessness Sentry should beat him a majority.
I don't think Sentry can beat him, Henshaw supposedly has near enough Supermans physical power but it's the machine half that is the most powerful aspect. Able to adapt on the spot and with weaponry designed to fight Superman he's not going to go down easy at all.
*If* Sentry gets creative and uses his energy abilities then it's a different game, assuming he has Henshaw in an environment relatively sparse in technological material. He may well be able to dissipate Henshaws essence potentially.
But in physical terms I see Henshaw as that bit more powerful and lethal, Sentry's durability is very respectable but not at all as rigid and dependable as Supermans has been and 9/10 it is only intelligence, Strategy, stamina and good fortune that has enabled Superman to beat the Cyborg....
Russian Zod is just powerful for him, kryptonian Zod he can potentially beat due to his overconfidence & inexperience with his power, but i wouldn't bet on it. Zod is still a decent fighter and tactician, while Sentry... is not! He doesn't think his way through a fight he beats his way through it.
Sentry is dead. Probobly. In terms of pure physical power, brutality and sheer stamina Doomsday is beyond nearly anything he's yet experienced. The beating he'd take would be terminal and given his brittle psyche it is unlikely he has the fortitude or stamina to compete anyway.
Again Darkseid is much too powerful. Superman can beat him through having long hard experience at repeatedly facing him and even then it is not an easy task. Sentry hasn't that same long experience and neither has he displayed Supermans tactical ability or expertise with his powers, it is not an exaggeration to say Sentry's skill and ability is not much greater than the average Kandorian and I think a skilled Kryptonian like Ursa or Gor would be a good deal more able than he is in terms of ability and aptitude...
