The only thing this incident showed was that Banner is at least a peer of Doom, and that Doom severely underestimated him.

If they were to have another encounter, the results might be a lot different as Doom wouldn't take Banner lightly again.

while its not literally a television remote [I hope $;\-\)$ ] Pressing a button and taking out someone elses tech [without overly specific prep . . . and since it says "all banner tech" I assume it wasn't an anti-doom TV remote] means you are better than him.

Its the equivelent of thing knocking out the Hulk with his pinky, and everyone saying, "well maybe Thing and Hulk are peers"
