...I wonder how many are going to fall for this. \(devil\)

True. I really doubt it's valid as It's very much a spoof and send up of Greg Paks well known love-in with the Hulk so far, I would say without a shadow of a doubt it's a wind up.
Plus, Would a writer really blab out such a collosall plot reveal several issues before?! Unlikely. \(yes\)

It's certainly written down in a convincing way but the content is both absurdly OTT and lacks a shred of originality in it's main suggestion. Ever since Alan Moore's Swamp Thing there's been a trend for hooking title characters up to huge Elemental forces of the Universe as a way of giving them both an additional mythos and as a rationale for what their actual existence is 'really' all about, but it's rarely very plausible and by now is actually a huge comics cliche.
They just did it with Firestorm and as much as i love that character to bits I just don't ever see him as a 'Doctor Solar' type character, Captain Atom sure, Firestorm though was never meant to be that level of concept however, and it starts distorting what the character is actually about. He becomes something else.
I would say though it proves how shaky Greg Paks reputation is getting online and among comic readers that he's becoming such an easily spoofable figure.

If it were to be true though... \(\!\)
