Yeah, the idea is that everyone proposed possible themes beforehand, and to get the bonus you have to make a team that fits in to any of those themes (you don't have to use the one's you've proposed, you can use a theme that other people thought up.) This was intended to avoid people trying to construct teams and then claiming themes that were cheap or vague, like "all my characters are Marvel" or "they're all 'warriors' of some kind". This will also prevent debates over whether a team deserves theme status at the very end of the draft that will drag on and prevent us from starting the tournament matches.
I say you don't have to declare the theme your going for until after
you finish drafting your characters, so you're not forced to tip your hand before you're ready.
Since this is the first day, if you have an idea for a theme I'd say it's not too late, but again the idea is to come up with them before a team has already been drafted. I'm especially compelled to add your theme as not everyone submitted theme's and I was forced to add a few myself.
Good questions Hatman. Let me know if you have anymore.
I want to try and purposefully underdraft to see if I can still field a competitive team, hence the Overachievers title. Most characters I draft will have that "factor" since how else will they compete against the more powerful options out there?
