Hulk and Thor fans seem to have come to an understanding that BFR is not Thor's way of winning a fight against a rival - to save innocents maybe but not many think Thor would see this as a true victory. So What other ways can Thor use his powers to take down Hulk.

There has been a lot of 'if Thor wasn't playing around and used his full abilities 'statements recently so could I have some clarification of what Thor can do if he wasn't 'playing around' and what if anything Hulk could do to counter.

For example -could Thor , using the hammers energy absorption drain Hulk as Surfer does?

I find it to be somewhat unlikely. Thor has shown the ability to absorb energy, but from the times I remember he never instigate the event. He does not juststart draining that is. I recall an instance or two of him draining a foe after they blasted him and he blocked with molnir and just did not let them turn their power off. Offhand I do not recall a direct draining example, it does not mean it is impossible but I do not see it as Thor's style.

Anyway, it depends on who you ask as to what Thor would do if he was not messing around. I imagine raining lightening down for instance with a storm or so for starters, some antiforce bolts, mystical bolts and I am sure his general disposition would change if he were fighting Hulk and not messing around.

Think what he unleashed against the Thanos clone, that sort of power would be something I doubt Hulk would walk away from. That said, to get Thor to that state of anger is exceptionally unlikely.

Look Raist bunnies...
