If Thor wasn't playing around....with the Hulk

    He could

Summon some serious cold on the Hulk....perhaps far beyond Hulks healing factor to easily account for.

Hulks regularly hung around in space where the temp is a little North of absolute zero. Though comics are inconsistent with things like this all the time Im sure hed be fine.

    Quote:
He could simply put Mjolnir on Hulks chest. Hulk could not move and Thor could pummel him / or bring down lightning / or cold / or rain to drown him.

Rulk recently showed why this "hammer on chest" thing wouldnt work.
Also..."drown him with rain"? This is the Hulk, not Batman. Hes been in space and under the ocean for hours at worst. At best he doesnt need to breathe.
A little credit no?

    Quote:
He could toss the hammer past the Hulk and have it literally go through the Hulks body in fulfillment of it's enchantment come back to his hand.

When has it ever looked like something like this might happen? That this is how the enchantment would work? That Hulk wouldnt just be pushed by the hammer back to Thor at best?

    Quote:
He could toss the hammer hard and fast and use it to hit and propel the Hulk into space - and back earthward accelerating the heat of re-entry again past the Hulks healing factor.

Hulks been through re-entry several times. Hes a little more durable than you seem to think. Also - Mjolnir is neat and all but it isnt Superman. This is getting kind of farfetched.

    Quote:
Thor has far too many weapons as his command to NOT be able to kill the Hulk if he had to.
Hulk could probably not do the same though as Thor could much more easily escape (flight, dimensional powers, elemental attacks for distraction/diversion)

    Quote:
The Hulk is incredibly powerful and resilient - Thor is ridiculously powerful and resilient.
