So much for Hulk being one-shotted by Zeus' lightning then. He actually gets back up from the first mahusive blast and shrugs off another huge shot from it in pretty impressive fashion.

He was down for a prolonged period of time. Enough at least for Hephaestus to get there and make an analysis. That is several seconds at least is not longer.

And I didn't see shrug off another. All I saw was Zeus put on a light show for the Hulk. It didn't seem to strike him or effect him. Zeus was just being theatrical.

And the other spoiler being that Hulk tempts Zeus into making it a fist-to-fist fight... I guess now we really are going to see just how far the "strongest one there is" shtick extends.

Hulk pretty much admitted he didn't stand a chance against Zeus if Zeus used his other powers. He didn't question Hera. So this can be read two ways. One can see this as either dumbing Zeus down to fight the Hulk's fight because Hulk can't beat him at full power, Hulk able to take him at full power but using tactical thinking to goad Zeus into playing his game, or some combination thereof.

How will people react if Hulk flat-out overpowers or gets the better of Zeus in straight h2h?

I would be disappointed. Pak and Lente have shown that they are at least familiar with Zeus's showings in the past. He should be one of the few opponents that can unquestionable match if not overpower the Hulk. At the same time Pak does not have the best track record when portraying the powers of gods. It would be funny that after Hulk's long record of beating up everyone he has come across the last few years to fight someone that he can't beat up.

So far all we have seen is the Hulk get in a sucker punch when Zeus was looking and talking to Hera.
