thought it was pretty clear that the Hulk was down at least for a few seconds.

Agreed, never said otherwise. The point was simply that he wasn't out cold as everyone thought at the end of #621; in actual fact he took it very similarly to how Thor took it.... except Hulk took a bigger bolt of lightning. \:P

Oh, and clearly Zeus didn't strike him again. That was just a light show.

Guess we'll have to agree to disagree on that front. Looks to me like Hulk is clearly being hit by something in the first panel. If it was just a lightshow, why is Hephaestus jumping out of the way of it?

At least we know if Zeus wanted to, he could easily kill the Hulk with his energy projection.

I'd wager this is going to be similar to Thanos vs. Odin. With Hulk having no chance of winning but getting back up and putting on a decent show.

That's how I was assuming it would go too, but Pak making it a straight fist-fight intrigues me. I dunno if Pak will write Hulk as an outright underdog in a straight battle of fists, but we shall see.

We already know that one way or another Hulk is going to take a bad beating from this issue. I think the main talking point is going to be how Hulk's dynamic strength stacks up against a Skyfather's; I know it's a topic that's been discussed at length in the last few years on this board, so it will be fun seeing it happen in print.
