Reply Subj: How strong do you chaps see Hulk being...

I see him as being able to achieve 70-100% of his base level of class 70.

Bootch, I assume you're basing "Class 70" off of a handbook entry, not the comics (as "Class 70" hasn't appeared in an in-continuity story).
And an old handbook entry, at that.
Class 70 hasn't been referenced as Hulk's base strength in years.

From reading some posts here, it seems that some contributors figure his strength as increasing to 2x, 5x, 10x, and beyond.

I'll keep it simple:
The Banner-in-Control Hulk (early to mid 1980's) is universally considered the weakest Hulk incarnation. This Hulk had trouble tapping into the madder/stronger dynamic. You might say this Hulk's base strength was "Class 70".
In the course of one panel, this particular Hulk ~*BRACED*~ 150 billion tons. Now, let's not go down the (incredibly worn) path of trying to figure out precisely how much weight the Hulk was actually supporting. But even if we say the Hulk was only holding ONE percent of the total weight, he's still supporting one BILLION, five hundred million tons.

2x, 5x, 10x, you say?
Well, if my math is correct, that would be more than 2,142,857,142 times his "base strength" of Class 70.

And that's the weakest incarnation...
...that didn't have "time to ramp up"...
...that didn't get a chance to purposely stub his toe in an effort to make himself madder...

And I don't consider this his greatest feat of strength.
(And the board certainly doesn't, either, as the volumes of threads like, "That's not very impressive, the Hulk was only bracing a portion of that weight" can attest.)

The only reason The Church of Hulk says that the Hulk has no limit is because...
(wait for it...)
...because Marvel says it.  Repeatedly.  For over 4 decades.
If Marvel never said it, we wouldn't, either.

People call us delusional...
...but as we see it, we just state facts:  Marvel has said the Hulk has no limit to his strength.
We think those that deny stone cold facts are delusional.

(a persistent false belief regarding that is maintained despite indisputable evidence to the contrary)

Put your opinions in my brain.

They're there; now will they stick? ;\)
