But... would the examples you quoted of streets with healing powers losing to guys with similar stats be considered "good writing" ?

Or is it because of the "status" of the winner that allows him or her to win ? ;\-\)

I don't know about you... but I thought it obvious that even the superior skilled street would logically be at a serious advantage if the other guy can quickly heal just about everything you throw at him. At some point fatigue has to come into play as you eventually start racking up more damage than your opponent.
