I did not include fanboy votes just for Thor because those voters did not bother to participate in the rest of the match-ups, violating the spirit of the game.

Round 2 results:

Group 1:
Hope Summers d. Thor 3-3, but Hope wins "last man standing" group fight 3-2
Magneto    d. Captain Britain and Tigra 6-0
Storm d. Protector 5-1
Cable d. Valkyrie 4-2

Group 2:
Hulk d. Nightcrawler (Age of Apocalypse) 6-0
She-Hulk d. Frenzy 5-1
Giant Man (Henry Pym) and Quake    d. Cannonball 4-2
Deadpool d. Prince of Orphans 5-1

Group 3:
Iron Man d. Warpath 6-0
War Machine d. Shadowcat 4-2
Vision d. Angel 6-0
Captain America d. Longshot 5-1

Group 4:
Emma Frost d. Ms. Marvel 5-1
Spider-Man d. Psylocke 4-2
Wolverine d. Spider-Woman 5-1
Black Widow and Hawkeye    d. Shatterstar 5-1

The rules: All characters are in their current forms in the comics. The fights take place in an evacuated New York City. Combatants start off 20 yards apart. No battlefield removal allowed. Fight ends when one opponent is unconscious or immobilized in a way from which the character cannot escape. 4 characters from each team make 1 group. Tell me who wins the 4 individual match-ups in each group and then tell me who’s left standing as the winners of the individual match-ups fight one another in their group.

Group 1:
Hulk vs. Magneto
Iron Man vs. Hope Summers (Hope can copy the powers of Magneto, Cable, and Storm here)
Vision vs. Cable
War Machine vs. Storm

Group 2:
Spider-Man, Captain America, Giant Man (Pym), and Quake vs. Emma Frost
She-Hulk vs. Wolverine
Black Widow and Hawkeye vs. Deadpool

Group 1:
Hulk vs. Magneto
- I think Hulk's HF will be put to the test but ultimately will be what allows him to stay in the game long enough to win here.

Iron Man vs. Hope Summers (Hope can copy the powers of Magneto, Cable, and Storm here)
- IM is out-powered here but Hope lacks experience which a sneaky Tony can capitalize on. Unfortunately, not for the majority. So Hope takes this one.

Vision vs. Cable
- Vision. Vision going intangible and solidifying his hand in Nate's head should be enough to disrupt him and get the win.

War Machine vs. Storm
- Since it's just one-on-one I think War Machine has this one pretty easily. He should be resilient enough to weather a few lightning bolts and really... all it should take is one repulsor blast to take her down.

- With Magneto, Storm and Cable down... Hope has no hope. Hulk is the last man standing.

Group 2:
Spider-Man, Captain America, Giant Man (Pym), and Quake vs. Emma Frost
- A bit one-sided here. Emma could mess with a couple of them maybe with her TP, but in the end she'll be overwhelmed. Diamond form isn't going to help but delay the inevitable.

She-Hulk vs. Wolverine
- She-Hulk. In an abandoned New York she just knocks over a building on top of him. But if she decided to just slug it out, she'd lose.

Black Widow and Hawkeye vs. Deadpool
- Wade takes out Widow but then gets tagged by an explosive arrow by Hawkeye which takes Pool out long enough to secure the win.

- Last man standing - Spidey. I think most will be focused on taking She-Hulk out that she'll eventually go down and Pete will be the guy at the end moping up.
