Wasn't there an old UXM issue by Claremont where the effects on the human body were described, complete with 10-15 time limit? Always assumed it basically true. Interesting to read realworld details discussed here.

Think it was a Brood ish around the one, with the cool title, TRANSFIGURATIONS maybe? Maybe someone has a scan handy?

Darn. Could've sworn Storm was floating in space in an issue where they gave the explosive decompression rules of space in a narration box. Will have to rummage backissues or Google some other issue like this one here:
