In a major Marvel vs DC crossover, the fans decided: Superman beat Hulk In a major Marvel vs DC crossover, a well known writer, backed by both DC and Marvel editorial decided: Superman beat Thor Both fights were clean. Now some people will say 'this version of Thor, or that version of Hulk' The important thing, is that concepts rarely change. Captain Marvel will always be a good fight for Superman, Hulk vs Thing will always show Hulk more powerful, even if Thing can lift 6 tons or over 100 tons. Added to this is that they also showed that Cyborg Superman was overwhelming Surfer. No red sun weakness exploitation, no kryptonite tricks, just Surfer being overwhelmed. I will concede that Surfer and Terrax have been shown more powerful than Green Lantern. Again, this is conceptually and I would say a Herald of Galactus can beat a Green Lantern. Superman can beat Darkseid, could Thor beat Thanos? No. The crossovers should be commended for showing clean wins. Are thy going to show Superman beating Thor repeatedly? No, why would they want to humiliate Thor fans like that? They showed one offs and they showed Superman winning.
