Nice post, but I kind of wish people would stop saying the above. It's not like Thor and Captain Marvel engaged in a slugfest until Thor knocked CM unconscious and stood over him victorious. Thor took advantage of a weakness which tells us nothing about the relative power between the two. It's like Sue Storm beating a Celestial. But making the above statement makes it sound like they went mano a mano, matched power for power and Thor was proven to be more powerful. This is not the case.

Thor and Captain Marvel engage in a slugfest, Thor goes to drop the Ferris wheel on Captain Marvel, fight was over then if Cap didn't turn into Billy. Yes, Thor intercepted the lightning bolt that finished it, but he had Captain Marvel beaten before then, its why he had to turn into Billy Batson in the first place.
