      Quote:
Thor and Captain Marvel engage in a slugfest, Thor goes to drop the Ferris wheel on Captain Marvel, fight was over then if Cap didn't turn into Billy. Yes, Thor intercepted the lightning bolt that finished it, but he had Captain Marvel beaten before then, its why he had to turn into Billy Batson in the first place.

    Quote:
But Cap should not have been in any danger of being pinned. He should have easily thrown the ferris wheel off of himself and continued the fight. It's not like Thor had damaged him so badly he couldn't have gotten up. The whole thing is silly.

It was lame. Thor used environmental factors to 'pin' Marvel for a second. Marvel didn't know if it would pin him long enough to count as a victory, but was under no doubt he could free himself but reverted to Billy just to be sure.

Thor then used his lightning and then effectievly crippled himself. If his gambit hadn't off paid off, a hammerless Thor against Marvel would have been a short fight.
