Quite simple. Being the hero called to stop two teams from fighting has nothing to do with how he compares powerwise with one member of one of those teams. This, along with that particular Superman being totally different powerwise than his normal self. Plus, you are ignoring that the inclusion of the world "perhaps" is clearly used for the purposes of uncertainty.

Has Thor ever brought up to stop two teams from fighting?

How does breaking up a fight equate to being more powerful than the combatants? That's like claiming that the referee can beat the fighters.

    Quote:
He didn't blew a whistle and broke them up though. He was specefically brought to stop them all.

Referees step in and pull fighters apart. It is a rather conspicuous reach to try to equate calling in a character to serve as a peace maker as meaning that the character is more powerful than everyone else.

And Electric Superman was less powerful than regular Superman.

But he has the specific type of power to snap them out of their mental state.

    Quote:
Superman has broken people out of mental control as well.

And how does breaking people out of mental control equate to being more powerful than them?

Even if we consider that, Thor has never been stated in such a manner, is he?

Being from across the cosmos have prayed for Thor to help them.

    Quote:
Ok? How does that compare him to other characters?

How does being a peacemaker who breaks character out of mental control compare Superman to other characters? You are the one trying to make one thing mean something totally unrelated.

If we make such reaches with regard to what we view as implications, then we have to include the fact that Superman and Captain America go after each other to fight head to head and actually clash together. Does that imply that Captain America is a physical challenge for Superman? Cap says that he had beaten dozens like Superman. What can we extrapolate from that?

          Quote:
Both were out of their minds if you actually read the comic, so no we can't.

They are agitated, not out of their minds. So yes, Cap is a match for Superman according to your standard.

        Quote:
They were explicitly out of their minds, did you even read the comic?

            Quote:

              Quote:
Superman states that he "barely" beat Thor and Thor says that he had Superman's measure and would win a rematch. If we are to take such statements as you do, then we should include that as Thor being shown above Superman. Correct?

            Quote:

              Quote:
Thor never said he would win a rematch. And Superman has said he has beaten someone "barely" a lot.

          Quote:

            Quote:
He says the outcome would be different. So he most certainly does.

    Quote:
Outcome being different also means it can be a draw. Its a boast, nothing else.

Same thing can be applied to Superman's words.

It was just to soothe Thor fans who were near rioting at that point.

Of course, they have all totally denied any of this. So you don't have a leg to stand on.
