Ah, Mad Jim. I've been trying to get a hold of the Alan Moore Captain Britain issues/run for a looooong time, to no avail (I know that they have a hardcover collection, but it's about $100, even for sale on Amazon.). This is said to be the Captain's finest hour.

From all of the scans that I saw, yeah, Mad Jim might be the most powerful mutant around. Isn't the one in the 616 Marvel Universe supposed to be even MORE powerful? I know that Claremont originally intended to use him (And or The Fury.) during the Mutant Massacre storyline. From what I read, there was supposed to be a 616 version of Mad Jim that was even MORE powerful than the Alan Moore one. Is Jaime Braddock on the same level as him? Thanks.

Yeah, Jaime was supposed to be the sinister foe, witnessed in Psylocke's mind scan of Sabretooth.

Would have been a better storyline.
