    As old as I am, the Kung Fu tv series is still a little before my time. Amusing Fist of the North Star observation though.


And accurate, as FotNS clearly was heavily influenced by the Mad Max films, especially Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (Jagi's look is blatantly ripped off from Lord Humungus). I don't think Kenshiro is as heavily influenced by Bruce Lee, but there are nods to Lee in some of his poses, and his shrill cries.

Going off on a tangent, but a scene near the end of the original Mad Max film was also the inspiration for the horror movie, Saw.
