Quote:Herald's can already slaughter worlds. Terrax has cut one in half. I am not sure that the WoL mattered or not.
Quote:I'm saying he slaughtered that planet to GET the power up from the well.
Quote:I never said a herald couldn't slaughter a planet. Morg slaughtered the planet to get the power up.
Quote:No, but depending on the era the tech angle was more or less played up. I count tech to be part of his power. It is not the same as snapping fingers but it also enters in to capability.
Quote:So if Galactus shared his power cosmic with you, you were dipped in a magic well and spent weeks in a regeneration chamber Galactus might be able to resurrect you.
The chamber thing appears true, the WoL thing, at least from what I remember, is speculation.
Quote:How is it speculation?
Quote:1. Galactus didn't remove the well of life power from Morg in SS #75. He makes a special point to mention that he removed the power cosmic he gave Morg but not the additional power Morg had gained.
Quote:2. The resurrection chamber thing happened like 2 issues later...same writer.
See attachment, no technological means present.
During the Infinity War, when Magus used the assembled Cosmic Cubes to destroy Galactus' ship, Surfer, Nova, Dr. Strange all crossed into Death's realm. Death stated Galactus would resurrect them all if she did not intervene directly.
Galactus also "resurrected" Zenn-La, and though it was apparently some sort of high-grade illusion, that illusion fooled the Surfer, Mephisto, and Celestials over the years.
Galactus may be limited by his relationship with Death, defying Death directly may undermine universal balance. A factor Korvac didn't need to consider.
Notice in the attachment, the Korbinite's soul was still present in mortal plane, and had not yet crossed over.
