"Depending on his tan" is a reference to his exposure to solar power. Based on Busiek's statement, exposure to increased solar power can bring him to the maximum level of "a good amount" stronger. Nothing non sequitur about it.

Yes, but it never says anything about being amped.

Its if he is at full power or weakened.

Thor is fresh against Nefaria. Busiek multiple times expressed that wear and tear left both combatants on the brink of being KOed.

Thor was being picked from a certain point of time by Collector where he fought Graviton and Nefaria back to back.

And No, Superman wasn't on brink of KO because Busiek said so when it contradicts the comic. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

    And please don't be hypocritical.

Same to you. Statements only count when it suits Marvel characters, right?

Superman being on the brink of being KOed does not contradict the comic. It jibes quite well with what is shown. It has nothing to do with whether it’s Marvel or DC.

Superman did have the benefit if being in The Savage Land where The Sun is strong and that may have been just enough to tip the scales.
