I'm suggesting that whatever factor Superman has or ability to dial things up to "11" is based on narrative importance due to popularity. Given the fact that he's probably less popular now than ever, then that factor is probably weaker than ever. Now did you have any evidence or argument to the contrary, or were you just going to troll?

They pretty much acknowledged Sentry was supposed to be their Superman and he overpowered everyone he met.
