And here I thought Darkseid didn't even appear in the comic.

My mistake for relying on an erroneous wiki entry.

You've done a lot of mistakes. Don't blame it on wikis though. It's just you're not a very avid reader.

Superman tried to attack Darkseid in the previous issue and Darkseid swatted him aside.

Superman even says that Darkseid will only take the humans over his dead body but Darkseid blasts him to his knees and defeats him.

    Quote:
It's still not a defeat. Darkseid blasts Superman twice to keep him away from saving some people and that's it! Superman is fine at the end of this "fight."

Yes it is. Superman tried to stop Darkseid who incapacitated him and went on his way.

It's a loss by any metric.

In Adventures of Superman #495, they don't even fight. Darkseid surprises Superman with omegas and teleports him to Darkseid!
Surprise Superman? He saw the omegas coming and couldn't do anything about it as Darkseid held him and Infinity Man helpless.

Superman and Infinity Man are on Earth. Darkseid is not there. Darkseid's omegas appear out of nowhere - so yes, Superman was surprised - and teleport them to Darkseid in an immobilized state. That's the whole thing and that's not a fight!

Both Superman and Infinity Man were on apokolips not earth. Did you even read the story?

It doesn't change the fact that Superman was surprise-attacked by Darkseid.

No, he wasn't. He was aware of the omega beams coming.

Yes it's a fight where Darkseid had Superman helpless.

    From a surprise attack.

By punching him repeatedly. Superman bounced back from the blast immediately.

New Gods #10 doesn't have a real fight either. Superman is enraged seeing Darkseid. Darkseid fires omegas to immobilize Superman and before Superman can break free, Highfather tells Superman that Darkseid is to be their ally and Darkseid lets Superman go. That's not a fight! And it's certainly not a victory for Darkseid.
Darkseid had Superman at his mercy without even trying to kill him. I don't know in what world that's not a victory.
Superman was just starting to free himself when Darkseid let him go, so it's far from clear that Superman was at his mercy. In any world, that's not a victory because it wasn't a fight! Superman never even attacked Darkseid. Here is what a victory looks like:
Highfather had to convince Darkseid not to kill Superman straight up. And Superman wasn't in process of freeing himself, he was already on his knees.

    Quote:
You just completely made stuff up again! Highfather doesn't even speak to Darkseid until after he lets Superman go. Superman is never on his knees. And Superman was clearly trying to free himself. Darkseid states, "What are you doing? No one has ever fought my omega beams. Not even Orion." Superman responds, "Maybe no one ever believed they could fight them," clearly indicating that Superman is fighting them! All your errors are revealed right here on the page:

Like Superman and Infinity Man being on earth and Darkseid not appearing in Action 638?

Highfather states that Darkseid is on new Genesis not on apokolips and he has to abide by its rules.

Superman was fighting omega beams and losing, hence why being on his knees and only frees himself when Darkseid stops.

A straight up loss.

Darkseid easily besting Superman to Superman beating Darkseid after he is hit by his own omega beams?

Except Darkseid didn't beat Superman in your examples. Superman is never admits defeat or is rendered unconscious in any of your examples. Darkseid is outright beaten and admits defeat in al of my examples, which were all fair fights, not blindsides like you include in your examples.

I've read it, never saw a win without Darkseid being injured by his own omega beams.

Because it short circuits Darkseid, another made up claim by you. Again, aside from Action Comics #586 which you don't even consider the real Darkseid, Darkseid is never overly affected by being hit by his own beams, beams that Superman, Power Girl, and others have taken and shrugged off, but according to you, Darkseid himself cannot.

Neither Superman nor Power Girl have ever taken omega beams at full power.

And its a plot point in several comics that omega beams cause feedback to Darkseid which weakened him. Like in GL 80 page giant, JLA 184-185.

Superman has always had to run away from omega beams.

      What a bunch of nonsense.

Yes, you wrote a bunch of nonsense.

Why don't you tell us again how Superman was on earth?
