The same way he's countered all of the Superman clones--Hyperion, Gladiator, Nefaria, etc. Thor is the master of the wind. He has superhuman reflexes which allow him to see them attacking in normal human mode despite them moving at the speed of the flash.

I disagree Superman's speed would be an issue here at all.
